Petals is pleased to announce the appointment of Leanne Thurston as their new trustee and treasurer for the charity. Leanne is an ACCA-qualified accountant with over 10 years experience in financial and business management.
Leanne was keen to get involved with the Petals charity after having benefited from counselling while dealing with postnatal depression after the birth of her son. She says: “I am excited about the prospect of raising awareness of the traumatic issues surrounding some pregnancies, and would love to see this counselling service available to all, regardless of anyone’s ability to pay”.
