Over the next few weeks we will be highlighting some of the things that our enthusiastic fundraisers have been doing for us over the last 12 months.  We are always grateful to anyone who chooses to fundraise for us in whichever way, whether it be by collecting Clothes for Charity, or holding a cake sale.  We’ve had an incredible amount of money raised for us by one person using easyfundraising.org.uk, and some people getting wet, muddy and generally having a ball while raising money by completing their Spartan Race.

It’s been an incredible year for Petals, one which has seen demand for our service growing rapidly, and which has also led to enquiries from other hospitals about how we can duplicate our service in other environments.  It has become evident that the service is widely valued and much sought-after, not just in Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas, but nationally too.  This is why your fundraising is so important!  We need your support!!

There are some fundraisers who we have already shouted about on here, Laura Cooke and her sponsored walk, Amelia Grant and team at the Spartan Race, and Caroline and Mike Baron with their Bootcamp on a cold and rainy day last summer… but there are a several who haven’t yet had a mention.  (Only because I haven’t had time to write them up!).  And there are a few who really should be highlighted because of the effort that has gone in, or (in one case) the surprising amount of money that has been raised with very little effort involved!

So… watch this space for details, and maybe for a bit of inspiration for what you could do to raise money for Petals this year :-)
