Next in our review of our supporters’ fundraising efforts, we look towards those who have taken the opportunity to get everyone up on their feet and dancing….

It’s almost a year ago now, but Julie Potter chose to support us for the second year running with her annual Charity gig in Histon, Cambridgeshire. Julie organised an evening of dancing to live 60s and 70s music, as provided by the fantastic band Full Circle, and ran a raffle for Petals too.  It was a really enjoyable event and raised a fantastic £860 for Petals.

Another friend of Petals, Dee Scadden, arranged a collection at the Cambridge Salvation Army Christmas Concert last year.  The collection raised over £600, and those of us who were there enjoyed seeing Charlie Green giving a fantastic performance.

And we couldn’t possibly forget to mention the two amazing Giving is Glamourous balls that have been organised in the past two years to raise funds for Petals and ACT. Both events were very well attended and enjoyed by all.

Once again we cannot thank you all enough for all these fantastic efforts, and those that have not been mentioned here. Here’s hoping that we have news of more fun and enjoyable ways to raise funds for Petals in the next few weeks and months!
